The Race

The Adventure Trophy Garmisch-Partenkirchen is a race where teams cover a distance from A to B with the help of a so called Road Book and by means of combining different sports.

It is an event for endurance athletes, AR beginners and also experienced teams. The race course and time limits for the Challenger-Class are easy enough to be managed without breaking speed records. Challenger-Class teams don't have to continuously push it in order to make it to the finish line. Participants of the Master-Class should be experienced endurance athletes

A good basic fitness is important for all participants. If you are in doubt if you are fit enough, get in touch with us. A quick chat or an email should be sufficient to answer this question.

Knowledge in technical disciplines/sports is not necessary. However, we do assume that you know how to safely move on a Via Ferrata and how to use map and compass. For those of you who want to train ropes activities we offer a workshop. If you are interested in details, please let us know.
